On ice once again. Well I really wanted to make the coolest ( pun intended) entry I could think of. Inspired by so many movies and also the 1/18 scale marvel universe frozen black and white comic con figure. I chose to do my own frozen in time package custom. This was not easy as I thought it was. I tried this twice. The first time I messed up really badly and waisted about 60$ on this custom the first time around. I'll explain.

The first time I did this custom I made so many mistakes. What I got for this project was the marvel now captain America figure , tape and 2 bottles of clear casting resin. Wich were 120oz each. I thought this would go perfect. I took captain America out of the package carfuly. I then painted him dark grey and grey. I waited a few hours while he dried. Then I glued him in place. Then I sealed up the box and mixed the risen. Poured it in and thought it would go great. Boy was I wrong. The risen first startd to seep through the box because I didn't seal it enough. Then I seen I only had half the risen I needed. So I basically I was screwed that. Not only this. The paint also started to blend into the chemicals. So there I blew the first try. But you live and learn. This did not stop me . I was determined to do this custom.

So I took another shot at it and leared what to do right. This time I got double the risen. Another captain America marvel now figure. Witch by the way is kinda hard to find in my area. Also had to pick up another box that was similar to the marvel legends captain America box. So this time I started off not painted the figure due to past paint bleed. I then cut the top open of the extra box. I sealed the whole box inside and out with tape. I slid in captain America. Then poored double the risen inside the box. I left just a little room in the top of the package. While it was drying. I did a little mixing to get the ice cracking effect. I then removed the iced up captain America from the extra box. I then put him in the captain America box. Then to top it off I added a blue LED effect for display.

The figure can be removed from the package still . To set up display finding cap in ice. So basically this is ment to be a varient package custom for something captain should be FROZEN.

So for items
75$ raisin
21$ captain America
5$ LED
25$ other things for this custom
Frozen captain America in package PRICELESS.
Really this figure took a lot of thought and time to do. Any feedback is welcome

Great work dude I love the idea behind this! One thing I have to say though is that it should have been WW2 Cap frozen in the ice!

I'm sorry to read that you had to do this project twice, but I give you kudos for not giving up in the face of adversity, that's dedication! I've seen a number of Cap-on-ice customs over the years, but this is the first time that I've seen one packaged up (you could almost argue that the resin ice itself is a package, lol). Nice job!

Hmmm...when I first saw the small pic for this, I got REALLY excited. Upon looking at the pics, I was a little disappointed that I couldn't really see the figure too clearly. Granted, visibility under water ad in the ice would be limited in reality, but if you could see Cap in suspended animation in that packaging with the blue LED, it would be way too legit!!! Hate that you sent so much money on it, but hey if you're happy with it, that's what counts. I imagine in person it might look a lot better. Maybe it's just the pics. I think if I did this I'd use hot glue rather than resin. Not trying to be a downer but I came VERY CLOSE to being majorly excited by this custom. At the very least I give you some major props for the idea. I wouldn't be surprised if a hundred people take that idea of a frozen cap in packaging and run with it

Well it was kinda meant to look like that. If someone was really be really trapped in ice . You wouldn't be able to see them very well. Hot glue would me melt the box. .

It is a Cool concept , but you can't really see figure at all , if only the custom fig could be removable , it would been a winner for sure , right now , I'm sorry it more a diorama piece than an actual figure
