I’ve not really understood the attraction to the new Robocop film. I’ve not seen it so it would be unfair of me to judge it but I've always loved the original and still do. So, when NECA announced the release of their Robocop figures, I was pretty pleased. Despite a fantastic body sculpt and articulation, the problem I always had with the figure was the head sculpt which many agree wasn’t movie accurate at all. When I saw Sovereign’s excellent head swap, I knew I’d have to try it. So, I bought a McFarlane figure, cut the head off and attached it to the ball socket of the NECA figure. Having also acquired the battle damaged version, I knew I had to make another, so after another expensive purchase of a McFarlane Robocop, here is the damaged NECA body with a new damaged head. Some paint tweaking and a gloss finish and voila! Very easy and quick custom but it makes a massive difference and fits really well. Now, when my ED209 finally arrives...!
