Ash-Mor-Mau translates from the Black Speech as One Black Warrior. Born of Burzum, mother of Darkness, daughter of Morgoth, who also spawned the Balrogs from her womb. Gorolog, King of Trolls, fell madly in love with Burzum, and Ash-Mor-Mau was born of this union, a troll who can walk in the light, as seen in the battles in the third book, LOTR, "Trolls were abroad, no longer dull-witted, but cunning and armed with dreadful weapons,", pg. 44. Ash is the first-born of the Olog Hai, resistant to the sun, father of a new race that spreads terror for Sauron. Only his progeny can walk free in the light, making his tribe of smarter, tougher trolls the new dominant race.

Ash is huge, even for a troll, and he kills and eats all other creatures that he meets, even giants and the other monsters of the Ettenmoors. His skin is stone, but he does not fear the sun, for he is Olog Hai, different from other trolls. He travels the Moors with his monstrous mother Burzum searching for the weapons and loot that make him happy, fighting with giants and dragons for fun.

Ash was made with a baby doll body, marvel select abomination arms and legs, and some poundage of Apoxie. His lower jaw is fully functional, sculpted over a plastic whiffle ball, hinges from roofing nails and beads. His huge mouth is connected to his stomach, which is fully painted and finished for the comfort of those he consumes. His eyes are yellow cats-eye marbles with a light, switch on back of head, green led, horns and teeth are glow-in the dark sculpey III.

Based off of the goblins from 1977 Rankin Bass Hobbit cartoon, Juggy select for scaling only, thanks for looking!

Wow! Thanks everyone for the votes, really exciting to place in a contest! 3.7 is a great rating too! Guess there are a few things I forgot to mention, horns are magnetic and interchangeable, 9" across the shoulder as well. Thanks again for the votes everyone!

Thanks man! This thing actually took a while to assemble, whole lower jaw was custom made from a plastic practice softball type thing, radius had to be perfect on the lower jaw sculpt for it to move and have a proper spacing reveal between belly and jaw. Although I could not photograph it, I put red foamy stuff into the whole lower stomach, made the cross-lines from hot glue to resemble the weird ribbing from inside the cartoon goblins, and then drybrushed the whole thing to make it look real. He has stomach capacity for a couple of dwarves, just retrieved my collection from the ranch so now I am going to have him eat some more LOTR characters. Should have made a hatch on back so he could "poo" out the figures he eats...

Thanks for any comments, good or bad, constructive, whatever My painting skills and sculpting are really rough, but I feel like entering the contests here on the Realm is a huge privilege even if I am still improving a lot. Thanks for checking out what I make, I appreciate any feedback

I didn't realize this was a Marvel Select Abomination, you transformed him very well, the eyes that glow are really very cool too!

I chopped apart a select abomination on the chop saw, then attached to the outside of a baby doll stomach cavity, tin foil armature for shape of belly and crotch, widened it out from abomination by a long ways. Thanks for the comment! I am working on using translucent paints for better glowing eyes over the marble, these eyes are just a black slit painted over a catseye type marble. Next time, translucent white, then iris and pupil the same so it looks correct when not lit up.

haha yeah, kind of crazy base for a figure, took me awhile, actually thought about using a cookie tin or wicker basket for the form underneath. I really like the face sculpt on this figure, it came out just how I wanted it to be.

Thanks! I used real leather for the belt, real stone for the buckle, stamped foamy stuff with texture for the gladiator skirt type thing. Had a lot of fun making this one!

Holy crap, hes huge! I love it, he reminds me so much of the animated Tolkien movies-kind of 'goofy' looking in that animated, exaggerated style, but you know he's still dangerous!

I really based this thing completely off of 1977 Hobbit for inspiration, I am going to post more of my prototypes and models of both regular goblins and goblin king from goblin town as well as the trolls as shown in the movie, lots of fun trying to capture those characters with action figures. Thanks for liking him, and for seeing the resemblance to the rankin bass art.
