One of the best combos coming out of the whole Amalgam deal was the Iron Lantern, the comic was terrific and I really liked how they managed to mix the GL and Iron Man classic looks to keep so much of each one, specially the way the gold in the comic is portrayed to look like black some times, making it closer to GL's suit.

When the Iron Man 2 line hit the store here in Chile, the 3.75 line became sort of a peg warmer, and they were put on sale;so after getting the figures for my collection, I got a couple of extras to make this Iron Lantern; I wanted to be the most accurate I could to the comic design so I went with a combination of #30 and #28 parts; sculpted the chest details and covered the mouth with epoxy putty, added a couple of flat head pins for the hip circles and painted it all with Humbrol metallic enamels.
