Hi everyone, most factory made figure line companies make a rare San Diego Comic Con figure collectible. For the TMSFT figures I been doing as of late I decide to created SDCC Exclusive TMSFT Vanilla Dan. First, I want to give credit to tmnt retro collector for creating the first Vanilla Ice custom, which gave me the idea to come up & fuse Vanilla Ice with SF Dan. Like him or not, Vanilla Ice will always be a part of tmnt history in the movie tmnt..secret of the ooze.
The blending of these two characters was pretty simple. Both are a joke respectfully in the Rap game and in Street Fighting. Here what I did to fuse them together.
I took and repaired a Sota Preview Akuma & Ryu from my fodder. Removed the feet and replaced them with ML Colossus feet,then sculpted lower pants. Next I took sota Dan head and gave him Vanilla Ice hair-do with cut eyebrows and sculpted a collar on his neck line. Finally painted his Gi like Vanilla Ice outfit in the movie and also gave him a mic.
In the pictures I tried to recreated some of the memorable fight & dance scenes from the movie.
