This is my first custom action figure. He is for a diorama most likely. I had a bunch of DCU figures for like 2 years, but never really did any thing with them. The large gaps from the articulation always bothered me, so I decided to do something around the waist. You probably couldn't guess what I used. It wasn't putty. It was Tightbond wood glue. Let it dry, and applied craft paint. Added some beads. Couldn't find the tiny wood ones, which I wanted, though. Wrapped areas of his upper body with pipe thread. And brushed him with water colors for a muddy look. The spear I made a long time ago from a bamboo skew. His original gives me more options.
