Raw Deal isn't really a great film, but I love it for the 80s nostalgia! Been wanting to do this for a while since NECA brought out their Dutch figure and, as NECA are unlikely to do a figure from this film (Arnie's least commercially successful movie) and more likely to take on characters from Total Recall or The Running Man etc. I thought I'd give it a shot.

My slightly over exaggerated Mark Kaminsky is made from a Duke Nukem base figure with modded neck and hands. The dutch head was re-shaped and the hair re-sculpted. His Heckler & Koch HK94 is made from a modded Hitman gun and his uzi is from a Sin City figure. His bag of weapons was from a wrestling figure and his bullet belt is made from a Spawn bandolier and part of Dukes ammunition straps. He was re-painted and then finished off with a mix of matt and gloss coatings.

You can see the bit of film I used for inspiration by going to You Tube and searching 'Raw Deal (1986) - Going to war'!

Thanks for looking!

Hi mate, no that's Red Heat. Check it out tho - it's massively dated but a great 80s guilty pleasure. Thanks for the kind comment!

Cheers buddy. Well almost - he's missing his pleather jacket, shotgun and revolver but, like John Matrix's shotgun and rocket launcher, they're on their way... At some point :0D

The base is from a McFarlane 24 figure - I see them come up on Ebay fairly regularly if you were interested in getting one.

Great idea bro! , everyone concentrates on the Terminator or Predator films of Arnold and tend to forget just how many cool movies he make on the 80's (and after until today) , it's good to see a change , Awesome work in putting everything together (Duke's base body was another fantastic choice , perfect Arnold) , Well Done!!!

haha cheers mate. Well, funnily enough you might be surprised about his latest film: Read a review of Sabotage in Total Film today - gave it 4 out of 5 stars! They reckon he almost manages to act in it :0D. Seriously though, it looks pretty good!

Cheers for the cool comments!
