One of the last great dragons of Middle-earth, Smaug rose to prominence by laying waste to the town of Dale and capturing the Dwarf-kingdom of the Lonely Mountain (Erebor) with all of its treasure. After watching the hobbit, I wanted to find a dragon from the mcfarlane's series that looked like smaug. This one really stood out to me to customize.

This was just a simple repaint. I started out by removing the rider, sculpting in the spinal spikes where there was a gap from his saddle. I filled the leg and tail seams with Aves apoxie sculpt then glued all moving parts to make this a display piece. I then primed with Formula p3 black primer, dry brushed/washed/painted with gameworkshop citadel paints.

This is my first custom ever so I would like all the opinions and constructive criticism my fellow customizers have to give.
