AWESOME job man. Im about to buy this figure but like you, I hate the head. I don't have too much experience repainting. I've just done a little here and there with Tamiya paints on some figures. But I was hoping you could help me. Is this guys head easy to remove if I was going to go that route? Is it a basic ball peg like marvel legends? Then how would I go about making another head fit if I was to find one. Or, any suggestions for repainting this head that would make it halfway decent? (less gums in that grin preferably and better eyes). Thanks for any tips you can give!

Thanks for stopping by SKAnk-a-billy! The head has a peg that comes straight up from top of neck into a small hole in his head. I boiled and popped it off, but the plastic is definitely thicker and tougher than Marvel Legends since it's a Marvel Select. If you find a better head of comparable size like the ones I found, they have larger holes under the head so I filled the holes with putty and some tape. Painting, well that's all about mixing shades of green to try to get the right one you like. Those Tamiya acrylics may work well for that, just have fun with some trial and error until you get it exactly how you want it. Hope that helps.

I love this. Finding a good Hulk figure is so hard. That Marvel Select figure you used for the body has such a stupid stock-face and paint job. You did an awesome job here. Makes me want to do it myself.
