I've been wanting to do this one for so long but I was waiting for the right parts to come along. The Blackcat base is just so perfect for Storm though some substantial modding was necessary. The head I believe is a Moonstone head from castingcave. The other obstacle to tackle was the mohawk. I don't know how others do theirs and it seems like alot of people like to keep their techniques to themselves which is cool, but the way I see it, the techniques don't mean jack if your talent can't back it up! I used a piece of cardboard and drew the head's profile. Then I drew a general shape and size to the mohawk that I wanted. Once I was satisfied with that I used ProCreate (the stuff chaz_xxi uses for all his killer works)and sculpted the hawk right on the cardboard. Once that side cured, I cut out the shape from the cardboard, flipped it over and sculpted the other side. Simple as that. Much easier than I thought it would be. Maybe I'll do a tutorial if anyone's interested... Please wait... |

Thanks for sharing your mohawk technique, you got a crazy sexy last of the mohicans vibe going on with that long tailed hawk, so badass. And the eyes are so striking, any tips for painting those?
I got a few Black cats just used one for my 'Poison ivy' but I might have to try this thank you for sharing you mohawk knowledge
