I present a gift from Fast Freddie and myself to Ole Jade Jaw:
*GREMLIN with Hovercraft!!!!*

The INCREDIBLE Fast Freddie had graciously and unselfishly gifted me a BEAUTIFUL custom of TMNT Leonardo last year. I really wanted to return the favor, but Fast Freddie, being the gentleman that he is, instead asked that I customize something for the ever-giving, always gracious Ole Jade Jaw. I happily accepted and began looking through Hulk villains that would be fun to work on. I've seen some really fantastic customs of Gremlin on the Realm and got inspired to give him a whirl. I wanted to create one that would fit nicely with the Marvel Select Hulks.
I started working on him along with a few other projects late January and was hoping to have this little bugger done a few months ago, but long hours at work have seriously slowed down the projects that I've been working on. Nonetheless, he's been a fun custom to create.

~Gremlin - I took a Hunger Games Rue and cut out about a half inch from her torso to shorten the figure's stature. I sculpted over the torso (giving him a bit of a humpback) & near the lower groin area to make his pants appear to hang lower.
~Gremlin's head - From a Toybiz Thing figure. Sculpted over most of the head. Added pointy ears from a MOTUC Demo Man head. I really wanted to make him as ugly and somewhat deformed as possible...giving him one big eye, veins & a purple boil over his head and some short stubby hairs on the back of his head (which are small pieces of my wife's cat's whiskers). ^_^
~Hovercraft - Kit-bashed from different fodder parts: Overtkill III's forearm armor piece, fodder hose, exhaust pipes from a Techno Spawn Code Red figure, a JLA base w/peg, a couple of parts from a MS Sabretooth base & a staff, bent to form the hovercraft's handlebar.
~Rocky base - Coincidentally, this rock base was gifted to me by Ole Jade Jaw some months ago...told ya the dude's gracious :). I sculpted some more rock-like features near the top to hold the metal bar in place. The metal bar inserts into the underbelly of the hovercraft.

Thanks for watching...hope you all like my rendition of Gremlin...yes, he's ugly, but that's what makes him so charming. ;)
