Hey guys, I can finally present, Rocksteady. This figure took me forever. After many times shelving and continuing, it all came together. I started by sculpting the borders of the tank top, and removing the torn waist area of Hulk's pants and sculpted the belt, pouches and cargo pockets. I attached a tiny turtle shell from a hollowed out turtle figure from the craft store. The rhino head is from an old Steve Irwin toy line. I sculpted the helmet, goggles, brow, and teeth. I also extended the horn a little. Once all that was put together I began the paint, which was not an easy task. At first, I was getting horrible paint rub, then a fellow customizer suggested dying the plastic, after several attempts and techniques, the dye did no more than give the figure a tan. I began painting again, only to have the grey appear as a weird blue. I finally thought to give the entire figure a black base coat. With the base coat laid, the grey worked nicely. Everything was repainted and finished off with a black wash. This figure has no head articulation, due to the original rhino sculpt, and no waist articulation, due to the sculpted belt. Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out. I hope you all like monster my hard work created. Thanx for viewing.
