My youngest son wanted a 12 inch Nick Fury to match his 12 inch Avengers for his 4th birthday.But Marvel only sells 12 inch Nick Furys for $400!!! So after searching ebay and not finding any thing under a hundred bucks, I decided to make one myself. I am a stay at home mom who grew up with baby dolls so I didn't know the first thing about marvel, shield, or the avengers. I thought the power rangers were part of the team and commonly confuse DC heros with Marvel.lol. This website taught a complete novice like me how to build an action figure. I used a G.I joe body, a Star wars Mace Windu Head (I painted it to look like fury) a Dracula trench coat, and Special Forces BDUs. Then I made the retail box from an old shoebox, clear plastic,magazine cutouts, and stickers. He is gonna FREAK!! Oh, and I used a sewing needle to poke a hundred holes around the mouth to make the beard look more authentic, and it turned out amazing!
