This diorama contains one of my first custom figures. The box is a football display box purchased from hobby lobby. The base lights up, with the press of a button simulating lightning by using accent strip lighting from Pep Boys. The lightning bolts were made using photoshop and clip art from the net. Thank you Internet!
Next, using a wire hanger, I made a flight stand for Black Vulcan (DC legends, Apache Chief wave).
Using wire, paint and small beads, I created what I hope looks like energy orbs with Black Lightning's hands. Black Lightning is made to stand using his own base. Black Lightning is from the History of the DC universe series 2. The articulation sucks in this line, butni dig the look.
Static was created by using a amalgamation of different versions of his costume. He was made by stripping down and repainting a Fantomex figure (Marvel Legends). Static's head is a WWE RTruth from WWE series 28. Apoxie sculpted the mask. ThenStatic logo is carefully shaven foam. Static in his original Milestone comic form rode on a manhole cover. I did the same here.
