Hello Realmers , well today I will continue with my League of Extra-Ordinary Gentlemen future spin-off "The Graymen" , with a very familiar name Tom Sawyer or to be more precise U.S. Secret Service , Special Agent and Liaison Thomas Sawyer (or at least that what he would like to be called , everybody just keep calling him Tom or worst "The Kid" , witch infuriates him!) , the best of the best in combat , intelligence and marksmanship (he was for a while a protégé of the World Greatest Marksman Allan Quatermain), his skill were only rivaled year later by an MI-6 Agent (whose name I'm not going to revealed , bot his number end with a "7"!) , yep , he lived the a lifestyle of intrigue , travel , women and those wonderful toys (and the shooting , fighting and running for one's life and country!) , and he LOVES !! (adrenaline junkie) , and now the real question , how can a guy that lived during the 1900's still around the year 2061 , simple like any of us he doesn't , Tom Sawyer was legally declared dead at the age of 57 (and as irony would have it of a heart attack , too much adrenaline scares can do that to guy) however fellow former League member Nicola Tesla (Ok I use the guy a lot in my stories , what can I say , I'm a Big Fan of the man!) manages to re-start his heart using experimental rudimentary Electroshocks , but Tom suffers minor brain damage and remains in a comatose state and he is place in another of Tesla's Experimental Devises a Cryogenic Chamber , that would keep his body alive until more advance medical and technological knowledge might help his dear friend , years passed and wars went by all but the Inner Circle of the League forgot or new about him (Tesla was Brilliant but Paranoid and had the Chamber move to a more secure location that only he knew of , and that secret he took to his grave!) , during WWII , during the German bombings Tesla's new location located in a mountain cliff fell into ocean and remain there for years (lab was abandoned and sealed because of the war) , it was during an expeditionary operation by the NEMO Foundation that the remains of the lab were found and it's long dormant secret , using the advance medical technology of the current time and using ALL of The Graymen's resources not only Tom Sawyer lives again , he's better than ever , with a new bionic heart pumping more blood than this adrenaline junkie can handle (he's faster , stronger and very , very hyperactive!) , the damage to his brain was fix with a two part bio-chip (one permanently embedded in his brain cortex , the other is more like a removable USB port device for extra memory upload and download) virtually everything he sees and hears gets automatically recorded , and can be pre-programed with any advance abilities , techniques or knowledge needed for any specific mission (good thing he has long hair!) , also Tesla's device had an unusual side effect on his cellular structure , it rejuvenated them about 25 years! , so 57 Sawyer wakes up looking and feeling 32! , being extremely grateful and ready for action , joins The Greymen and strangely he's also re-activated as a Secret Service Agent in the current U.S. (can't escape the government , I guess!). OK guys how you like my little Homage to Captain America!? , Recipe : body is from an old Toy Biz X-men Gambit , head is from an alternate MLI Winter Soldier , boots and gloves are from a Deluxe White Power Ranger , guns and holsters from the bin , Jacket was from an Ultimate Cap (MLI) , and then painted in the Teams colors (violet and gray) , hope you guys like and Thanks ...(PS the last photo is a Preview of my next 3 customs!!)

Awesome concept again! As I read through this I was reminded of Captain America, Winter Soldier, Robocop, and the Matrix because of the downloadable aspect of his brain. This one's got a really complex origin among your Graymen. The actual figure is a lot like Winter Soldier because of the head but I can picture a Tom Sawyer in there especially since you made good modifications. Nice use of the black Gambit, I've used one for a custom too.

Thanks bro! , he was so human in the movie that I really didn't know what to do with him , the custom came really close in becoming a Winter Soldier , and weird as this origin was it was going to be even weirder!

You action poses are inspiring, especially the dynamic 'praying' pose in the first image. Really enjoying your more realistic 'human' based figures, great work young fella.

Nice brother. Really enjoying your backstories and the figures. It's a shame your line of Greymen is nearing its end. Maybe you can start a new line.

They all are such rich and complex characters that it would be an insult not to give them a proper story , I'm just following the logical evolution of these great and revolutionary concepts , Thank so much for liking them and there still a few left untold , so stick around , lets see what I come up with!

A modern day warrior of mean mean stride todays Tom Sawyer mean mean pride. Sorry bro, I couldn't help but type this. Lol. Awesome looking custom brother, I love all the details and fire power he has. I especially love the detailed history about him. Keep up the awesome work. P.s. He looks like a mix of Leon S. kennedy and The Winter Soldier.

It's so cool you say that bro , it shows we are thinking in the same wavelength , you see I made this guy weeks ago , but had not decided how to painted him , because he could be a alternate Winter Soldier , it wasn't until I made the other League customs that went for Tom , Thanks bro for the very cool comment! (now I want to hear tat song! )
