This was actually a fun one. Never had much interest in fixing up Machine Man, but when I was asked to give him a shot, I ended up getting a few quick ideas. The first one being to start with the Silver Surfer head. No additional sculpt required. Just painted up the mask and added some red to the eyes. Full purple repaint with some silver added was pretty much all it took. For the extended portion of his arm I went with a tentacle off a Marvel Showdown Doc Ock. Cut down his lower arm a bit, and attached the tentacle to his arm and in the gauntlet. The last piece was the belt. Just cut some of the buckle portion off the front and smoothed it over a bit. Thankfully, Doc Ock figures come with four tentacles. Looking forward to trying him again soon.
