I'm a great fan of Marvel 'Alternate stories'...and the 1602 lot are a pretty good read.

Spider 1602 had two or three variations of his costume in the same storyline - but I like the final version best. The concept of a 'Jester' costume was a brainwave and fits both the era in which the comics were set - and the character that we have all come to know and love,

An easy paint figure too!!! A lot of resculpting of the head, added cuffs and 'jester' shoulder design. The original figure came with heavy knee length boots - so after much shaving, sanding and filling, I added little jester 'booties'.

Once again - sorry about the photography!

That's really great of you to say - thanks! I don't think I could get the paint work right on Spidey 2099 yet..I need a LOT more practice. I'm working on Lady Octopus at the mo' - and then I'll be doing the Green goblin 2099 - he should be fun!
