Hehe, yeah if I win the lottery and become rich there's a fair chance you'd become kinda rich from making me Bravestarr figures. :P I would pay well. I am a generous fellow. Though it's probably my generosity that has helped make me poor now. Ah well.

Thanks man realy appreciate the kind words!
I made a lot of motu customs (vintage), I'm trying to make new pics of the ones I still got(close to 100 custom figures) but will look into it to post them here but you can imagine that will take me some time. I do have a little site (don't know if links are allowed here, still digging trough rules) where most of my motu customs can be seen, also on FB for the more recent stuff and WIP pics.

Yeah, I kept expecting Bravestarr to save the kid but nooo and then he does the end-of-the-episode-moral-lesson right by the kid's graaaave? I did wonder about the toyline. Perhaps part of the problem was that they were pretty big compared to some other toylines and while they looked cool and were fun that likely made them more expensive to buy and produce. Might have sold a few more if they'd at least made them to scale to the He-Man figures in case kids wanted to do crossovers (He-Man riding on Battlecat alongside Bravestarr on Thirty-Thirty would look awesome come to think of it). But then He-Man/She-Ra did real crossovers all the time and the non-Horde figures were all barbie dolls so they didn't match either. It's only recently that they've had proper MOTU figures thanks to Mattel (but I can't afford those either...)

Anyways your figures are looking great. If I was a rich man with a big house I'd probably commission you to make me some too.

Think Mattel thaught Bravestarr would be a succes like motu so they didn't think size would be an issue and it would be a toy of it's own that would probably have KO+ Bootlegs following up their size. Not being compatible with other toys but also the upcoming gameconsole have shortened the run of toys I think. In the Netherlands the pricing was like the motu figures but I don't think the Netherlands had/has much influence on what Mattel did or didn't do.

Thanks for the compliment, that does fill up the tinkering meter! And if you win the lottery and get yourself a mancave let me know

Looks like that figure stepped right out of the cartoon show (I watched the entire series over the last christmas period). Still slightly traumatised by the drug episode. :O This is an excellent custom.

Thanks you verry much carnivac!
I'm a big Filmation fan and just like you I recently watched a lot of Bravestarr, that drug episode is a doozy yes, especialy in that period of time! I remembered as a kid I was so dissapointed there where just a couple of figures in the toystore before the line stopped so I'm trying to make the toys I would have loved to have back then (and now)
