Mordred or Modred is a character in the Arthurian legend, known as a notorious traitor who fought King Arthur at the Battle of Camlann, where he was killed and Arthur fatally wounded. Tradition varies on his relationship to Arthur, but he is best known today as Arthur's illegitimate son by his half-sister Morgause, though in many modern adaptations Morgause is merged with the character of Morgan le Fay.

Arthur left Mordred in charge of his throne as he crossed the English Channel to wage war on Emperor Lucius of Rome. During Arthur's absence Mordred crowns himself king and wishes to marry Guinevere, she flees Mordred's proposal and hides in the Tower of London , forcing Arthur to return to Britain. The Battle of Camlann is fought, and Mordred dies while Arthur is taken to Avalon.Virtually everywhere Mordred appears, his name is synonymous with treachery. He appears in Dante's Inferno in the lowest circle of Hell, set apart for traitors: "him who, at one blow, had chest and shadow / shattered by Arthur's hand".

Now with Morgan Le Fay's return to our world , and with the Powerful Sacred sword Excalibur in her hands she needs someone of Arthur's blood to be able to fully wield it , and just as she conceived a child with her half brother for that purpose , Mordred , she would now go to the depths of Hell to reclaim her son from the Devil himself using Excalibur as a medium for it , Creating a new Mystical body (the curse Axion armor of pain) out her son's corpse and the weapons/armors of his slain ancient enemies (knights of Arthur's Round Table) and fusing it with Mordred's stolen soul , a monstrosity of dead and destruction , a mindless beast loyal only to his mother is reborn , Mordred lives and Morgan Le Fay shall rule forever , but not if Queen Guinevere and her new found allies the "Agents of Gaia" have something to say about it (or her rival for world domination Lady Frankenstein and her Nemesis Organization!)

Recipe : base is a McFarlane Spawn the Black hart figure , with a ML Constrictor head and armored pieces from an McFarlane army of Darkness Evil Ash around the neck and shoulders , took of the Spawn figure cape , collar and armor pieces (used them mostly and ironically on my Guinevere custom!) , glued a Witchblade lance to his back as a sort of stinger , added axes galore but left one hand free for use of a sword (Excalibur?) , finally repainted him in wine and gold acrylic and done , notice this figure was a gift from a fellow collector and friend for use in customs and the legs and some arms were broken , so I had to glue them solid , so very little articulation , still I manage to salvage it and even used parts of him for other projects , so I'm proud of this little fella , hope you like the final entry of the Arthurian Arc and see you guys at next post , Thanks , later!
