Baron Delacroix was a brilliant painter on his home world of Kodak. It wasn't until war came to his planet that's when he had to lay down his brush and pick up his sword. He was a brilliant warrior on the battlefield his fighting skills was unmatched he describe his fighting skills as a brush moving across a fine woven tapestry. The word of this fighter reached the head of the high command of the Khund. The Khund high command sent word to destroy this warrior by any means necessary. After awhile the Khunds learn of this artist who became a warrior. So the Khunds gather up all the valuable art work and threaten to destroy it if the Baron did not surrender. One night Baron Delacroix surrender the Khund. The Khund was order to kill Baron Delacroix from their high command. They decided not too. Because they didn't want to make him a martyr before the war ended. so the Khunds took him to the public square to humiliate him in front of the town people. They had him on his knees and his hands tied behind his back asking him all kinds of questions Baron Delacroix spoke not a word. They torture him Baron Delacroix made not a sound. At the end of the Khunds little display to break the Kodak spirit the Khund leader said that he was gonna put Baron Delacroix eyes out so he will not be able to fight again. As the leader of the Khund Leader took the hot poker out of the fire all that Baron Delacroix could thing about is that he will never be able to look art again...Baron Delacroix wept. When the Khund leader put out Baron Delacroix left eye Baron Delacroix did not move or made a sound. ThisBaron angry the Khund leader he spit in Baron Delacroix face. As the Khund leader reach for the poker again a Green light appeared in the sky and said Baron Delacroix you have the ability to overcome great fear welcome to the Green Lantern Corps. Needless to say the battle turned greatly in the favorite of the Kodak people. More corps arrive to help the Kodak people. Now as a full fledged member of the Green Lantern Corps Baron Delacroix spend his time leading GLC warriors into battle and winning. In his down time he spend his time painting and creating art with his power ring.
