As I've already mentioned in the description of my Mirror-Kirk figure, "Mirror, Mirror" is one of my favorite episodes of Star Trek. When I started customizing, it was a no-brainer for me to attempt the crew from the mirror universe.

The most challenging figure of them all was Lt. Uhura. The base for the figure was the regular bridge-version Uhura. I shortened the skirt in the front, sanded down the uniform, sleeves and badge and sculpted the ornament on her arm, the insignia and the sash with apoxie. And the tall boots, of course.

I was able to mix a color that matches her skin tone pretty well for the arms and the belly.
