I wasn't completely happy with the Hasbro Jean Grey released, but it was good enough for awhile. Spontaneously, I happened to be messing around with some different parts for ideas when I threw the Jean head on Black Cat. I really liked the way it looked so I went about swapping out a few parts and sculpting some details. This came together pretty quickly but the paint was another story lol Black Cat body Jean Grey head, arm bracers, belt, left hand, and shoulder pads Hope Summers forearms Marvel Now Storm right hand The lower leg 'fur' was sanded down and resculpted, the chest was sanded and sculpted as well, along with some on the shoulder pads. The paint was a real pain as you can imagine and I encountered a troubling amount of paint rub that required some re sanding and re painting. Everything was worth it though. Loving this one. Looks a lot better on my shelf than the factory one. Thanks for looking! UPDATE 9/13/18 Complete disassembly to take care of joint rub issue and mostly repainted. I also wanted to update the pictures. Now, up for auction! ![]() |

If there was ever a reason to have telekinetic powers it would be for that one purpose. Jean grey never looked more mature. congrats on the epic custom.. I like it a lot. Consider me a fan.
