A few months ago, I picked up Ultra Street Fighter IV. I skipped Super, so this was actually my first introduction to the new secret boss, Oni. Initially, my thoughts were, "Really? He has bloody Vegeta hair." But, after a little while, and some Boss Rage videos, he grew on me, and has become one of my new favorites. Just behind Evil Ryu, of course. But, I couldn't resist giving him a shot. Started with a First Appearance Hulk, and gave him the right hand of Skaar. Not sure why. Should have kept both fists, really. The head came from Red Hulk, and the hair actually came from a Vegeta I got from a crane machine years ago. Spent about 3 hours hollowing out the head before it would finally fit. Added some sculpt to the upper legs to give more feel of pants, then added some to the lower legs, tearing a bit to give the proper gi look. Used cable pieces off Apocalypse for the belt, with some added sculpt for the knot. Then, sculpted around that to give more of a torn gi look. That part was pretty fun, and I like how it came out. Now, for those who don't know, Oni is actually Akuma. Akuma translates to demon in Japanese, and Oni likewise translates to devil. Oni is in fact who Akuma becomes when he fully succumbs to the Satsui no Hado. That fact actually made him a little cooler to me. This is Akuma, devoid of absolutely any emotions.
