I know a lot of Street Fighter customs are hit and miss with people, unless you're direct fans of the fighting game series, which I am. I've loved it for years. So, I still have a few more favorites for the month to share. But, not this guy. He's just weird. As most know, my favorite Street Fighter character is Cammy, which immediately explains my dislike for 3rd Strike. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game. It just doesn't have any characters I really, truly like in it. But, while watching some gameplay videos recently, this guy managed to catch my eye. Mostly in the manner that I was one short on the list of characters I intended to make, and he appeared to be a simple enough filler. This lab creation of Gill's does apparently have his own fan base, though. There's not really too much to his history besides that. A shape shifter made by Gill, sent after Necro, ends up discovering his own sentience. Now, for making him, I opted out of the bladed hands and went for his passive stance in the game. Used hands from a Gatchaman Ken figure attached to Moon Knight lower arms to that right. Head was random, maybe from a Star Wars figure, maybe, with a lot of sculpt added over it to match his appearance as best as possible. After that, I just went into a full, tedious white repaint. He wasn't a bad project, and a nice little filler. Not to mention some great additional practice with white. Can never get enough of that.
