I've wanted to make a sort of proto Spider-Man for some time now but didn't quite know what direction to go in. I wanted to make the costume look homemade, but I didn't want it to lose any flexibility. I finally found a suitable image online and decided to give it a whirl with some tweaks. I sculpted the sweatshirt, knee pads, elbow pads, and head. The hands are from a Spider-Man and Namor. Enjoy!
Thanks for the votes everyone! That Higgins design was definitely on my mind, as well as some other designs from around the web. I get what you mean about the sculpt. I think a cleaner paint job could have helped that as well .

I like the design, but the sculpt could be smoother. Reminds me a lot of the Rosy Higgins Spider-man design here from tencentticker's Project Rooftop re-design contest. Not a bad thing, as that design was awesome, and though yours shares elements of the design, its obviously not a 'rip-off'.
