Here he is folks! Bellybomb, one character I've wanted an action figure of since I was a kid!
I spent quite a bit of time on this one and made sure he was just right.
(Constructed and painted in 2 months 2014)
The body was sanded down and drilled out in the areas I felt it was needed, I then sculpted him in parts as, and paint was applied to match the comics colors.
I opted not to give him eyelashes as I thought it made the figure look odd.
I originally planned for his head/large eye to be moveable but it just wasn't in the cards as it proved to be too difficult.
Bellybomb is from the TMNT Adventures series by Archie Comics.
He can be seen in Issues #23, #24, & #25.
I based the look and sculpt on a number or drawings I had of him from all the different artists that drew him.
