I finished this around 4 years ago - it ended up being a mash up of various Cap ideas. I had originally wanted to make a 'John Walker - AKA US Agent - New Invaders' Captain America. I have the graphic novel 'Once an Invader' and really liked Walker's Cap uniform, especially his dorky looking helmet.

I began by sculpting over a TNA Chase Stevens head but then got side-tracked when I saw some screen shots of Chris Evans in his modern Cap uniform for 'Avengers Assemble' and hated how it looked. No self respecting super solider should walk around looking like that! So I ended up throwing together a mix of the WW2 Cap uniform in the 'First Avenger' and the modern movie look. Also I love the comic book first appearance uniform with the 'crew neck' and the traditional shield so they had to come into it somewhere.

The recipe was -

TNA Chase Stevens head - With dorky helmet sculpt by me.
Main torso, crutch and hips - ML Cable series 6
Thighs and knees - XMC House of M Wolverine
Boots - ML Cable series 6
Shield - WW2 Ultimate Cap
Holster - ML Baron Zemo - Mojo Series
Gun - Matrix Trinty
