Undercover Raphael (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) Custom Statue / Bust
Custom #:66723
Name:Undercover Raphael
Custom Type:Statue / Bust
Toy Series:Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Creator:Kevlar Palsh
Date Added:October 13, 2014
Base Figure:11 inch movie Raphael.
Height:11.00 inches
My concept of an updated uncover Raphael. I used an 11 inch 2014 movie figure. I amputated every limb and finger, readjusted the pose to the way I wanted him to look. I wanted a stealthy but menacing look for him. I Reshaped the head and apoxie sculpted his entire outfit. Magnets were implanted into his face and bandana. Steel loops were anchored to his lower legs for sai holders. Thanks for checking him out.

Loving this even more now I finally seen the film (which I found hugely enjoyable. Haven't really liked TMNT stuff since I was a kid but I found the movie to be tons of fun) and I really like this updated disguise.

Wow, this is a beautiful, wonderful piece all around! The sculpt work is exquisite and it's really clear from a glance you had a very strong vision for this figure before you even started working. It looks like you really captured that vision! I Love the paint work, too! Great example of an excellent execution of forethought, my friend! Figure Art at it's finest

Wow. Thanks again Davey!! Youre exactly right. I had a very specific vision for him and totally ran after it. Thanks for noticing that and mentioning it. Makes me feel a bit more accomplished that other people can also see that. Thank you for the comment! MUCH appreciated.

LOL. The film did have major issues but I tried to focus on the stuff I liked. It had some beautiful visuals though.. I thought it could have been a lot worse. I'm exited they're making more though. Thanks for the compliment Zoltan!

Awesome work Kev, I really love this concept for the new 2014 Raphael. This works better for this version than the hat and trenchcoat. I would love to see a 90s version of Raph with his hat and trench too. Keep up the amazing work!!
