Halloween 2014 custom debut!

This is my custom figure of Theodore "T-DOG" Douglas from The Walking Dead, a beloved character by fans that probably died too soon. This is the first figure of two that I'm posting today as a sort of "Halloween Flashback" set.

T-DOG's recipe:
Head: Assassin's Creed figure, resculpted
Hands: Walking Dead tv series Gas Mask Riot Gear Zombie
Torso, arms, legs: Tyrese, heavily resculpted
Various accessories: Walking Dead tv and comic series figures.

Tyrese was heavily sanded and resculpted to capture the outfit T-DOG wore in the episode where he was killed saving Carol in season 3. It was just primered and sprayed and hand-painted as closely as I could get to the tv show model without scanning the actual actor.

I'm starting to get ready to make my own custom figures of t-dog, Dale, and Martinez. how do you seperate the articulation points with out breaking the figure or do I lose all articulation when I make them? Any chance I could get a list of tools I will need to do a full custom? P .s. Really love the work you do would love to learn your secrets.
