Okay, in keeping with my love of all things Superboy, I decided to tackle yet another one-time adversary of the Boy of Steel, this time one of the Bigfoot Creatures from DC Super-Stars #12, cover dated February 1977, Superboy is pitted against a small group of Bigfoot Creatures by the Super-Teacher from Krypton, a robot built by his father Jor-El and assigned the task of testing Superboy in the use of his powers.

So, this figure actually turned out to be a really easy custom to do, probably one of the easiest figures that I have EVER done. I took an Archie McPhee Bigfoot figure and applied about five to six coats of flat clear to the body to remove all the glossiness of the figure (I have to say this, the Archie McPhee company did a great job on designing and producing these Bigfoot figures, but their execution as far as making the figure look lifelike...I.e. making it look less like molded plastics and more like living skin and fur left much to be desired...had they given the figure a healthy coating of some kind of flat clear during production, it might have looked better). Once the last coat of flat clear had fully dried, TA-DA...one of the Bigfoot Creatures from DC Super-Stars #12, enemy of Superboy!!!!
