Yeah, they finally released a new 52 Red Robin, but only after I finished this one. Red Robin is a stripped Nightwing figure. Basic repaint with leather strips and wire for parts of the costume. I used jewelry beads from Hobby Lobby glued to the leather strips. The cape was a serious pain in the a$$. I glued the learher strips together vertically, then included aluminum, apoxie scult and a buttload of electrical tape. The recipe is difficult to describe cause I had to make it work. Anyway, I really like this one. To be honest, I always thought Robin's look fell short { in most of the depictions I've seen, I could have missed something important }, like parts were really cool but something made it fall apart, or look silly. This version looks entirely awesome. I could totally see him kicking ass and looking killer in the process.
