So, there were actually two reasons for updating Absorbing Man. First, I thought he would look better in a larger build. And he certainly does. But, also, he simply had to be in scale with his wife, Titania. Seriously, the old figure actually looks tiny next to She-Hulk. Delving into another member of Doc Ock's Masters of Evil comes one of Marvel's few female powerhouse villains. Whenever I think of them, I think of Titania and Thundra. But, Thundra's more antihero, really. No other really well known ones, it seems. She debuted during Secret Wars, like a bunch of characters, and went on to a life of crime in both the Masters of Evil and the Frightful Four. She's very much a straight repaint of She-Hulk, but I did sculpt the belt and add the boot tops from Thor. Haven't done any spikes in a while, so I know they're a bit large, but they're toothpicks cut to fit. Head is actually form Aurora, too. Thought the change of head option would be nice. She came out pretty decently and scales well with her husband.
