To honor the 151st Birthday of Katipunan Supremo Andres Bonifacio, I made probably one of his first customs on the Realm.
Just a quick bio of Bonifacio:
Andres Bonifacio was born in Tondo, Manila in on November 30, 1863, during the Spanish occupation of the Philippines. Instead of studying at one of the friar-run universities in the country, being from a lower middle class family, he self-taught himself. It was during this continued period of self-study (while working a managerial position in a shipping company) that he read Phiippine National Hero Jose Rizal's novels, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. It was the appreciation for the social commentary in Rizal's books that inspired Bonifacio to join Rizal's organization, La Liga Filipina, which called for reforms from the abusive Spanish government. After the failure of La Liga Filipina as an organization, largely due to Rizal's arrest, Bonifacio decided to found the Kataas-taasang, Kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan (Most High, Most Honorable Society of the Sons of the People), dedicated to gaining independence from Spain through armed revolution (So don't worry, the KKK on that flag does NOT point to the Ku Klux Klan). The Katipunan started the Philippine Revolution in August 1896. After being betrayed and taken out of power by fellow Katipunero Emilio Aguinaldo a year later, Bonifacio was executed by the Aguinaldo government. Today, Bonifacio is known as the Father of the Katipunan, and arguments are also being made that he should be recognized as both Philippine National Hero and First President of the Philippines.

Bonifacio is also set to make it to the big screen this December at the Metro Manila Film Festival with "Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo" (Bonifacio: The First President) starring Robin Padilla.
