Ace Duck only had a very brief cameo in the original cartoon.

Did some sculpt work on the jacket to make it zipped up to the chest like on the cartoon, along with other minor changes such as removing the logos and changing the teeth pattern. Repainted the figure completely, as well as the removable pilot's cap and service .45 pistol. Didn't use the wings or belt/egg grenades. I was thinking of sculpting a new pilot's cap permanently onto his head to make even that match the cartoon better, but it looks like it would be pretty hard to sculpt, and the one he comes with looks close enough. I may go back and do that later.

Update 12/20/14:
Well just as I thought may happen, the inaccuracy of the original pilot's cap started to bother me, so I decided to sculpt a new one permanently onto the head in an attempt to make it look closer to the cartoon. This also helps keep the hat on the head so I don't have to reposition it or worry about it falling off or getting lost. I also used a different color for the pilot's cap, and also glued the arms into place and sculpted over the swivel joints to make the shoulders look smoother, since I wasn't going to be using that articulation anyway, only time he would need his arms outward is if he's wearing the wings. Now the arms work like cut joints, just move up and down.
