Princess Tamris (Conan) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:68454
Name:Princess Tamris
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Conan
Creator:Strangefate
Date Added:December 11, 2014
Base Figure:Own 3D Base figure
Height:7.00 inches
I've been somewhat busy lately with developing a new skeleton base body and updating the female base, and this figure is the first one to benefit from all the tweaks to the base.

She has a nicer looking torso cut with a bit more movement range and the knee joints can now bend significantly more than before, allowing her to be on her knees... which seemed like a must for a Conan-ish girl...

She was inspired on your typical Conan and Frazetta girls and I'll be doing a few more around the same 'Damsel in distress' theme that would fit in the same universe.
She comes with a knife and removable belt that can carry the knife on the back.

The loincloth was made from a Christmas ribbon. The skeleton is one of the test prints and the hammer and axes are 3D printed too.

Yo Strangefate! Awesome metal bikini chick!(I have a thing for them) I'm super excited because I'm ordering myself a 3D printer for X-mas. I've been selling my customs for the last six months on Ebay, and I finally have the three grand I need! I've been learning how to use Z-Brush with the express purpose of developing a toyline that I've been designing for years in sketch form. I'm a tech moron, but to be a part of this 3D printing world, I am willing to learn. I initially was planning on casting all my parts, but printing in good old ABS is much better. You certainly seem like a kindred spirit. Keep making these amazing figs dude!

head to toe impressive, literally...I am amazed by her feet. They look incredible. The costume has detail that hearkens to the McFarlane figures Amazeballs

Thanks Hector... McFarlane toys and some Diamond toy lines were what I initially was looking at when I started doing figures.
I'm still always learning a bit more about what details and sizes print well and which don't, but I hope I'll be able to consistently keep details at a rich level.
That said, I'm also playing around with simpler but chunkier/bolder styles, closer to what World of Warcraft would do, as they print and read better... we'll see, I'd love to marry the best of both styles into one.
