In honor of Wolverine's many purported deaths, and this year's "Death of Wolverine" story arc, I'm offering up "Blown Away Wolverine" for this contest.

This custom began with a Marvel Legends X3 Movie Beast figure. Imagining Wolverine as being completely blown away on one side of his body, I carved as much as I could off the right side of the figure without disrupting the articulation. I then carved and added some bones to jut out of the decimated right side (which also took some study time, going through anatomy references to make it all accurate), as his adamantium bones would be unharmed. I sculpted all the elements of Wolverine's costume over the Beast figure, so that the only parts of the original figure unaltered by the end were the upper left arm and the small, uncovered portion of the face.
