I've been wanting to make a Doomsday out of the Marvel Legends Infinite Build-a-figure Ultimates Green Goblin and the Big Brutes contest is as good an opportunity to have a go at it as any. Was really happy to find a complete Green Goblin loose and while this and will give the due acknowledgment that this has been done on the Realm before by some excellent customisers. Cut off the horns and shaved down the ears. Transplanted the horns onto the knees and sculpted all the other bone spurs and details. It was challenging making it look like it wasn't just clay and I hope I've achieved that to a certain degree. Painted it all up, hopefully the green shorts and silver belt are enough of a callback to the original design of Doomsday even though it isn't fully accurate (I actually think I like Doomsday with clawed bare feet better than in the boots). Gave him the iconic torn Superman cape prop, made from torn up red craft pleather and a glued-on printout of the S crest. Thank you for looking and voting and a happy new year to all!
