One of my favorite things during the 90s was the sheer number of animated comic shows popping up. We weren't getting movies back then, so seeing characters appear on the screen in some manner was just awesome. I remember being excited for the Avengers show, and then realizing it wasn't going to feature Iron Man, Thor, or Cap. Or Hulk. That pretty much made the Iron Man series more Avengers than this one. And they wore armor. I watched a couple of episodes over recently and just couldn't get behind it. Even with Scarlet Witch on the roster. But, one character did catch my eye. And after fixing up a more buff variation of Absorbing Man a few weeks ago, I decided to give Wonder Man a shot, as well. This time focusing on his design from Avengers: United They Stand. Filled in the lower legs to make them proper boots, then sanded down the bracers until they more befittingly resembled the gloves. Then, I shaped up the belt by cutting one of Cap's, and sculpting the rest to round it out. To finish him off, I opted to try the Hyperion head with sculpted glasses. Think he came out pretty good in the end.
