To make wasp I cut off Spider-Girl's head at the neck with a dremel, did the same for Wasp, I couldn't do a straight head swap as Spider-Girl's neck was too short. I cut off Wasp's wings by splitting the figure, the drilled two holes in Spider-Girl's back and attached the wings using cocktail sticks. After glueing the new head in place and sanding off any over-hang, I painted her with Citadel Paints from Games Workshop. I did lose articulation when sticking in the cocktail sticks, as it restricts the arm movement, I'll lower the hole placement if I decide to make another.
