I know many people have done the repaints for their Guardians set but I tried to kick it up a level by making various detail changes on Star-Lord. First of all, I have three figures of Star-Lord to have one with the long jacket as seen at the beginning of the movie, one with the short jacket as seen in the middle of the movie, and one where it looks like a full space-suit in the final battle. I repainted his hair and face to make him look a little bit more realistic. I repainted the helmet to look more screen accurate as well. I painted the headphones orange and the tape player gunmetal. I also did a black wash on the short jacket figure. This is probably my favorite figure from this year because of all the fun accessories you can mix and match with.

I also did some work on the other Guardians. Gamora got a full facial repaint, Groot got layers of blackwash and drybrush, Rocket got a blackwash, and Drax's pants got a blackwash. I think they all look a little bit better than the stock figures. I love this set and I wasn't even a fan of Guardians until the movie came out.
