I was really happy magneto finally got a decent new costume design for uncanny x-men, though the all white doesn't thrill me. The black version he's donned for magneto and axis on the other hand is quite sleek in my opinion. Flipping through recent issues, his new helmet and cape have been drawn more ways than i can count, but i prefer the drastic, jagged helmet design and large cowl that have been featured mostly in cover art. I started with the recent magneto figure as a base and swapped in the lower legs and belt from a spare cyclops. Sculpted the glove cuffs, shoulder cuffs, and helmet with apoxie and used green stuff for the cowl. The new paint job shows off that it's actually a pretty good face sculpt, it just suffered from an ill-fitting helmet and beady eye syndrome.
