Well here's my first custom. Been a long time viewer, first time lister :)

I picked up a highly articulated wrestling figure and had always wanted to make an Andy Whitfield Spartacus. So I dremelled down all the clothing (knee pads, elbow pads etc) and chopped his face off (a glorious death)

I added apoxy to the peg holes and smoothed over the thighs and elbows. Next, I set about sculpting the face (yikes) I used photo, video and other sculpted faces as a point of reference... then was so unsatisfied with the results I chopped his face off AGAIN! Second try and I was much happier (I found it easier to build the detail up in layers rather than all at once)
Painted with Citadel paints and sealed with 'ardcoat.

But he wasn't quite "Spartacus" yet. Next, I sculpted shoulder armour, leg guards and dual swords (using a mix of FIMO and apoxy) as well as a leather belt with apoxy detailing. some more Citadel paint and he was ready.

I hope you like him, I was nervous about posting him up for critiquing so be gentle (actually, screw that, all criticism/advice welcome)
