Hello,

So anyone who knows me knows that Superman is my favorite DC character. So this was a no-brainer. DC finally kicked out an AWESOMELY articulated line of figures, with decent sculpts, and then...abandoned it for different sculpts and less articulation!?!? So..other than wanting to throat-punch the marketers at DC collectibles for dumbness, I figured I could put some of these bad boys to good use.

I sculpted this guy in layers, in order to get the textured suit. Kudos to Katoscustoms for some dremel support getting that 'U' off his chest. I sculpted a very thin layer over most of this figure's body, including getting into the ab-crunch, and used one of my sculpt tool's handles to roll the texture of the Man of Steel Suit into it. Covered every area I could without losing articulation. After that, I sculpted his wrist guards, boots, the piping on his suit and belt. Lastly I sculpted his 'S' in several layers as well, retaini ng the texture as best I could.

I didn't swap the head for two reasons-1)the Cavill heads I have are too small, and 2) I LIKE this 'mean-face' head. Gave him 'heat-vision' eyes and that face is perfect for 'angry' Supes.

Wired, cloth cape makes it complete. Again--my pictures really suck--the lights I have are just off. The blues look a bit darker-and better--in person.
