He's green, he's slimy, and he's come to devour your planet! Shuma Gorath is a custom that has plagued me for over 3 years as I've been trying to find the perfect base for him. Well, perfect base for his tentacles! Rubber snakes didn't work, squid arms had suckers, and everything else I found didn't bend. Then one day I came across McFarlane's Grendel's Mother. And behold, that was what I needed!

Six bottom halves of Grendel's Mom later I had his tentacles. They're bendy and they spin! His body was hand-sculpted from Aves Fixit Sculpt and Apoxie Sculpt around a large 'light up christmas nose' that when you push the button on the back, pulses with light! I was going to blow $70 on a glass eye but it turns out they weren't completly round and I wouldn't be able to mount it with glue. The nose was just a buck. I think I made a good call there.
