Hello Realmers. I have been a long-time customizing enthusiast and visitor to the site, but never a contributor, and I felt it was time to change that.

As a more obscure character than some, it was a while before I was even aware of the Purple Man, and even longer before I was able to get past the odd name and really appreciate the character. I figured it would probably be an easy custom, and a welcome addition to the shelf.

The body is a Marvel Legends Galactus series Professor X, and the head is a Marvel Legends WWII Ultimate Captain America. Prof's shirt was originally a little to close to Zebediah's skin tone, so it had to be painted white to provide contrast. I had to steal a neck peck from a fodder figure, and I used Apoxie Sculpt to put a part in Cap's hair (it felt necessary).

In the end, I can't shake the impression that it looks like a purple Ted Danson. I'm okay with it, though.
