Hello my friends , this was kinda of a commission for a co-worker , who is a great fan of my work and has contributed with many ideas in my custom , he's an artist as well (and actually very good!) and a fellow figure collector , so when I got some spare MLI Odin BAF parts , I thought to make him a Thor figure , use Odin's arms , torso and cape , added an extra Marvel Select Thor's head (without the helmet) and hammer , the legs were the challenge (did not have them and wasn't going to buy the ML figures with them!) , had an old WOW dismantled Ogre figure and just or curiosity try the legs and they work nicely enough (cut the side skirts for better fit) a bit buff but hey he's a Viking warrior , so OK , next felt it was too plain and needed a base and used a MS Hulk's battle damage base , still wasn't satisfied , it look cool but ..., then I found some old Captain America and Iron Man bodies (they had almost zero articulation and had used the head for other customs long ago and no use for them , until now...again just out of curiosity (I feel like a cat!) try two extra MLI Odin heads (was aiming for an older look for them , but more on that later! , decided to incorporated them into the base as well , side by side Thor.

Story : "Right after the events leading to RAGNAROK (The Twilight of the Gods) , Thor barely manages to escape from Fenrir's jaws but not completely (the demon wolf ate his legs) badly hurt and dying he asks for the All father Odin's help (who's in a coma in Asgard) still he subconsciously hear the cries of agony of his beloved son and searches for help in his greatest allies in Midgard (Earth) , The Mighty Avengers , however long years had passed and time is unforgiving , the only two avengers left are Tony Stark (Iron Man) who is pushing 112 years and in permanent life support , thanks to his advance technological genius and Steve Rogers , While still healthy , has become a bitter old man wondering America , heart broken after losing so many friends and love ones , seeing they are in no good condition but needed nevertheless , Odin's makes a supreme sacrifice and grants them both the last of his power , The Odinforce and fuses his all with them , transporting them to Asgard to aid Thor , They find him about to be smashed by Loki's Ogre army and the ensuing battle becomes legendary , the first to fall is the ogre's leader whose legs both Cap with is sword (shield was lost years ago!) and Tony's tech , not to mention a portion of Odin's power , reserved just for him! , and the god of thunder walks again! , now The Odiforce Avengers are going to show the true meaning of their name , no retreat , no surrender and this time no mercy , their last stand!.

I entered this as a statue mainly because all parts are sealed with glue for a more solid stability , oh and the rest of the Ogre's parts are the ones lying around the base with some red paint for morbid purposes (ha, ha!) , I think that for a piece made totally out of fodder parts it ended really cool (my opinion , but I'm biased!) , my friend love it and it's currently on his home as part of his collection , well hope you like this interesting piece and see you guys later , Thanks!
