The Ultimate Universe ends in Secret Wars but it doesn't mean that these versions will become irrelevant. In fact these designs are heavily mirrored in the movies and similar appearances in the mainstream comics / media, animation and video games. As a casual figure collector, it's the look that is important anyways. In the end every character can wear whatever gear they want right? The same goes with custom figures. The design is based from one of his appearances in the ultimate comics where most of the brotherhood mutants are wearing military cargo pants. Painted all black base and drybushed all the way. A bit of scultping on the helmet to cover the holes and more kitbash using cellphone stickers and dark gray adhesive foam.
