The Ultimate Universe will definitely end in Secret Wars but it doesn't mean that these versions will become irrelevant. In fact these designs are heavily mirrored in the movies and similar appearances in the mainstream comics / media, animation and video games. As a casual figure collector it's the look that is important anyways. In the end every character can wear whatever gear they want right? The same goes with custom figures.
