Continuing with my Eternity War/ Dc inspired customs, the next one in my list was Shadow Weaver. She had a familiar look in the comics but quite different at the same time. I made a cast from Shadow Weaver's skirt and upper torso from Battleground Teela. The Arms of an X-men 3 movie Jean Grey (The one everyone hated) with extended arms cause they were too small and a partial cast of Shadow Weaver's head. The tip of the hood is sculpted out of a soft material to make it bendy so it doesn't break during shipping or in case she takes a tumble (apoxie and resins tend to be fragile when sculpted/cast so thinly) The scepter is a crystal ball with sculpted holder and plastic handle. The symbol, sleeves, and upper shoulders were sculpted with apoxie.TONS of sanding and I mean TONS of sanding are required for the sculpt to blend seamlessly specially when marrying two different parts. Shadow Weaver is one of those cool characters that drew me to the show and one of my fave motucs of all time. Her video is up on my channel. Thanks for checking!
