So, it's pretty well known that I'm not a fan of concept figures. Meaning, movie and TV concepts. I've seen a couple great ones, but most don't logically translate a character from comic to film. They look cool in figure form, and they'd look cool in a comic, but that's about it. However, Punisher translates fluidly. Literally anyone's head on a Punisher body, and it works. And I was looking for an excuse to make a Punisher figure. Couldn't find any other designs I liked. So, with the announcement of Jon Bernthal playing him in Daredevil, I wanted to see two versions. The first, which I posted before, was the typical jacket and shirt design. This second one, and the one I almost expect to see, has him in an actual vest. I wish it stood out better in black, but sadly I have not mastered such an art yet. Sculpted up the entire torso for the vest look, and swapped out the right arm for Cap. Hands are Steve Rogers, collar comes from Starlord, lower legs from a random Joe, belt was Cyclops, and holster was a cast. Whew. Even added a couple bandages to his face since I thought it fit. Two fun projects, and that finished me up until we get some official images of his look.
